Below you'll find instructions and pre-written letters to help you:
Add or modify Beneficiary Information on your account:
- Open this letter.
- Fill in your account information.
- Fill in each beneficiary name (full name) that you would like on your account.
- Print, sign, and send to WTDirect Client Care via fax or mail (full instructions can be found on the letter)
Remove all Beneficiaries from your account:
- Open this letter.
- Fill in your name and WTDirect account number.
- Print, sign, and send to WTDirect Client Care via fax or mail (full instructions can be found on the letter)
Set up Automatic Deposits to your WTDirect account:
- Print this letter.
- Fill in the blanks, sending it "To" your current employer's name and address (or other source of deposit), and "From" your name and address.
- Fill in your new WTDirect account number.
- Sign and send to your current employer (or other source of deposit)
- Remember, it may take your current bank or other institution several weeks to process your request and they may require additional information from you in order to process your request. Please call us if you need assistance with these forms, 1-800-WTDirect (or 800-983-4732).
Change Automatic Social Security Deposits:
- Call 1-800-772-1213 with your social security number and new WTDirect account number handy.
- Provide the Social Security Administration with that information as well as the WTDirect routing number (052173464).
- Keep your current account open until you are sure that this automatic deposit has been switched.
Change other Automatic Account Deposits:
- Print this letter.
- Fill in the blanks, sending it "To" your current employer's name and address (or other source of deposit), and "From" your name and address.
- Fill in your current bank account number receiving the deposit and your new WTDirect account number.
- Sign and send to your current employer (or other source of deposit). Keep your current account open until you are sure that this automatic deposit has been switched.
Close your Savings Account at another bank:
- Print this letter.
- Fill in the blanks, sending it "To" your current bank's name and address, and "From" your name and address on file with that bank.
- Fill in your current bank account number.
- Sign the letter and send it to your current bank.
Please note: You should already have a WTDirect account before you start the process of closing your account with your current bank.
Submit Name Change:
- Open this form.
- Fill in your information.
- Print, sign, and send to Wilmington Trust via fax or mail (full instructions can be found on the form)
